Stirling Council's budget for the coming year is under pressure for a number of reasons. Some £13M of savings are needed, with a further £5M needed to be saved in the following year. The Council is, therefore, looking at a range of options to reduce services or withdraw them altogether in a bid to balance the budget.

Council members want to involve people at every level in these discussions and choices. To that end, they have launched a survey in which some cost-saving options have been prepared and are presented for comment. They hope to involve as many people as possible. No decisions have been taken as yet on any of these options and there is space for individuals to add their own suggestions in addition to what has been proposed.

The following links take you to the Stirling Council website where you can choose to complete the survey online or via a downloaded document.
