Stirling Council is currently undertaking a review of polling districts and polling places in the Stirling Council area. All local authorities are required to review their polling districts and polling places for UK parliamentary constituencies at least once every five years. The next compulsory review period will run from October 2023 to January 2025.
In carrying out the review, the Council must seek to ensure that:
- All electors in the constituency in the local authority area have such reasonable facilities for voting as are practicable in the circumstances; and
- So far as is reasonable and practicable, every polling place for which it is responsible is accessible to electors who are disabled.
Comments and suggestions are invited on any aspect of the current arrangements for polling districts and polling places. We value all feedback on whether the polling places we currently provide are suitable venues, or whether there are any alternatives that should be considered. Comments can be made by completing the brief survey which can be accessed via the web link below. Alternatively, comments may be sent by email (
