Information from Sainsbury's, published on 21st April by Stirling Council.
Sainsbury's has launched a scheme for Volunteer Shopping Cards. The way it works is that those who are unable to go shopping for themselves during the current crisis - for whatever reason - may visit the Sainsbury's website and purchase a virtual "gift card" for any amount between £5 and £250. Those buying the "card" nominate another person who will be able to do some shopping in Sainsbury's on their behalf and the "card" is then emailed to that person. The value on the "card" can then be redeemed in a Sainsbury's store by the person who is shopping on someone else's behalf. For further details, go to the Sainsbury's website, using the button below.
